because that is the year I was born and because I think it is funny. Underneath the

HOW IT WORKS
Double border means it is a window. Drag it by the title bar. The
– minimises
to the taskbar and the
✕ closes. Escape closes the top one. The
⊞ FOVAL-OS button opens the start menu, which has everything on it, including
SHUT DOWN. The
♫ MUSIC button plays synthwave that is generated live in your
browser. There is no audio file. It is being written as you listen.
